Square the Circle (Stand Your Ground)
is an interactive sculpture about relationships and personal boundaries. Five concentric paths run from the perfect circle in the center to the square at the edge; white, black, and one red sphere can be rearranged by viewers. The work visualizes the tension between standing firm and adapting: You can try to please everyone, but you can also choose to hold your place. Sometimes you place yourself in the center, and sometimes you step back — placing others at the center. Relationships, empathy, resilience, and presence.
